Green Papaya  青木瓜


 

Principal Herb:Papaya / Carica papaya

Uses:Helps to relieve joint pain and numbness in hands and feet.

Ingredients:

1 medium-sized green papaya
3 sachets tieguanyin tea leaves
600 ml water

Preparation:

  1. Peel and slice the papaya, and then cook it in water for 20 minutes.

  2. Add the tieguanyin tea leaves and cook for another 10 minutes.

  3. Strain the tea before drinking.

Dosage:

Twice a week until desired results are achieved.

Job’s Tear Tea

Principal Herb: Job’s Tear/ Coix lacryma-jobi

Uses: Helps to ease gout and joint swelling, and eliminate body moisture and edema (water retention).

Ingredients :

6roots and stems (approx. 300g each)
7 slicesicorice
2 litreswater

Preparation:

  1. Wash all the ingredients.

  2. Add all the ingredients into a pot and cook for 90 minutes

Dosage:

Three times weekly
